Magan Mandir wants to spread a musical message in the society, especially for the upcoming musicians.Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri was a master in his creations,therefore there are numerous ragas created by Acharya and thousands of compositions in Khayal, Thumri, Dadra, Kajri, Raagpradhan Bangla Gaan, Geet, Ghazal & Bhajan. These compositions are preserved in the archive of Magan Mandir.

Pandit Shyamal Lahiri and Vidushi Mandira Lahiri conducts workshops in collaboration with other organisations, where they try to make the students learn the valuable compositions of Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri.Apart from that several recording projects and seminars are conducted with other eminent artists to preserve those rare gems created by the maestro.

Few of their disciples are also working with some experimental compositions of Sangeet Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri both in rare ragas and taals. Though it's Magan Mandir's Mission to spread the marvellous essence of this Gharana,to be more specific one of the promising Gharana of Bengal.
