In Memory of

Since the birth of Magan Mandir in the year 2016,the organisation is working at its best both in West Bengal and in some other major cities of India. Their 1st year concert was at December 2016 at Mahajati Sadan, one of the historical and prestigious Auditorium of Kolkata.After that every year Magan Mandir presented at least two major concerts in the City.

Some of the concerts held in Rabindra Sadan Kolkata, Mahajati Sadan Kolkata, Sishir Manch Kolkata, India Habitat Centre (New Delhi), Bhawanipore Sangeet Sammelani Auditorium Kolkata etc.

Several reputed artists paid their tribute in memory of Sangeet Acharya Pandit Chinmoy Lahiri. Pandit Gobindo Bose, Pandit Kumar Bose, Vidushi Haimanti Shukla,Pandit Nayan Ghosh (Mumbai), Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, Pandit Parimal Chakraborty, Pandit Kushal Das,Pandit Santosh Nahar (New Delhi), Smt Anita Sharma (Assam Sattriya Dance), Pandit Prateek Chaudhuri (New Delhi), Pandit Vijay Shankar Mishra (New Delhi), Shri Shubh Maharaj, Shri Ashoke Mukherjee, Shri Hiranmoy Mitra,Pandit Debaprasad Dey, Pandit Shyamal Lahiri and Vidushi Mandira Lahiri to name a few.

Apart from that several young upcoming musicians also showcased in Magan Mandir's Annual Concert, Shri Subhahyoti Guha, Shri Subendu Banerjee, Shri Ujjwal Bharti, Shri Ratan Bharti,Shri Prabhat Banerji (Senior fellow of Acharya's Gharana) the young dyanamic vocalist Anirban & Diptam (Fellow and torch bearer of Acharya's Gharana), Shri Bijay Mishra, Shri Pinaki Chakraborty, Shri Nabarun Kumar Dutta, Shri Koushik Banerjee to name a few.

Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri worked as a Trainer in HMV and also was an eminent professor at RABINDRA BHARTI UNIVERSITY. The world famous Bengali Ragpradhan "Tribeni Tirtho Pothe Ke Gahilo Gaan" was one of his notable composition which was used in a film "Saap-Mochon", where he acted as Guru/Trainer of famous Actress Legendary Sushree Suchitra Sen.The composition was presented by Acharya Pandit Chinmoy Lahiri and Smt.Pratima Banerjee (Disciple). Another title Music from Deya-Neya " Jamuna Ko Chaley Radhika Gori"based on Raga Rageshri Set to Drut Ektaal was a remarkable presentation by Acharya Pandit Chinmoy Lahiri and Vidushi Shipra Bose (disciple) which won the hearts of all Bengalis across the Globe.

Vidushi Mandira Lahiri created a ladies group where she works in an innovative way. Each time they are presented with some unique ideas which includes both the Classical and Semi Classical Music.It has become one of the star attraction of Magan Mandir.

Mandir Mandir is blessed with several disciples who are constantly supporting the organization to carry forward the projects ahead.Each member and disciples of Magan Mandir are our pride.
