Magan Mandir has become a reputed name in the world of Indian Classical, Semi Classical Music & Light Music. Magan was the pseudonym of Sangeet Acharya Pandit Chinmoy Lahiri, who was regarded as one of pillars of Indian Classical Music, especially in Bengal.

In the year 2016,Pandit Shyamal Lahiri (Son & Disciple of Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri) & Vidushi Mandira Lahiri (Daughter-in-law & Disciple of Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri), initiated to form an organization in memory of their father & Guru Sangeet Acharya Pandit Chinmoy Lahiri. Then it was finally named as Magan Mandir.Magan Mandir is a registered organization.
